Mary Varnum Platts - Peterborough Chapter

Welcome to the Mary Varnum Platts - Peterborough Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution in Rindge, New Hampshire.

We serve the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire.

The chapter was organized on June 1, 1988, and is one of twenty-one chapters in the New Hampshire State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution. The chapter consists of a diverse group of women committed to the ideals of historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

The chapter awards scholarships and DAR Good Citizens awards; commemorates Constitution Week through proclamations and Bells Across America; recognizes individuals for outstanding community service; assists in literacy challenge programs; provides volunteer services and support to veterans; awards medals for patriotism; promotes the protection of New Hampshire endangered species and wildlife; and promotes the conservation of forests, streams, and natural resources.

We invite you to attend one of our meetings to learn more about DAR and our chapter. Our calendar, which includes meeting dates, is available on the right.
